Withycombe Rugby Football Club recently received a Coastal Community Fund award of £13,000 towards the re-surfacing of the existing car park.

The car park at the Club is not only used by both youth and adult rugby teams but also by the many other clubs using the facilities including dancers, musicians and a cow bell group.

With such heavy use the previous car park had seen better days and with an increasingly uneven surface developing the project became a necessity.

Since resurfacing has been completed the club have had many a comment about the increased kerb appeal. There is no doubt that this work will help increase the use of the facilities. The club are now looking to have lines painted to add the finishing touch!

John Drew of Withycombe Rugby Football Club said:

“Withycombe Rugby Club express their gratitude at the support received from Coastal Recycling which will enable the club to upgrade their car park. This project will benefit the whole local community.”
