When designing a Brand or Image, we consider your colour schemes, the applications you may wish to use it in (i.e. stationery, web design, signage, clothing, mugs, pens), and develop an image that is user friendly. This not as simple as it may seem as the various applications your design may be used in could demand different qualities from the artwork. We won't bore you with the science, but as long as it is discussed at the outset, the artwork we produce should eliminate (or at least reduce) any additional artworking fees that companies may try to charge for using it. If you are considering a new image, then the following questions may be worth considering when coming up with the concept:
Who is your target audience? Who are you trying to reach?
Do you have an existing logo or tag-line that your customers may already associate with your company that we could use as a base to build from? Remember - people like consistency!
Do you have a preferred colour scheme you would like to use?
How long do you expect your new brand to last for?
How much will this change affect your business? Consider all the possible applications your image may be used in.
